We use various communication channels, including SMS/text messaging, to coordinate internal operations (such as volunteer and staff scheduling) and to offer direct conversational assistance to individuals seeking support or information.

2. SMS/Text Messaging Program Terms

By explicitly opting into our text messaging program (such as through our internal staff and volunteer onboarding sheets) or by initiating a conversational text thread with our organization, you agree to the following mobile terms:

  • Program Description: Messages are sent by Women’s Freedom Center to coordinate operational schedules, share volunteer shift reminders, or respond directly to inbound conversational support inquiries.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your active interactions with us, your operational schedule, or the nature of your requests.
  • Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.
  • Carrier Liability: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

3. Opting Out (Cancellation)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. To stop receiving text messages from Women’s Freedom Center, simply reply STOP to any message you receive from us.

  • After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.
  • Once confirmed, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you choose to re-initiate a text thread or explicitly request to opt back in.

4. Support and Help

5. Privacy Policy Integration

6. Limitation of Liability

Women’s Freedom Center strives to provide reliable and confidential communications. However, we cannot guarantee the immediate delivery of text messages, as transmission depends on network availability and your mobile carrier. The organization is not responsible for any delayed or unreceived messages.
